Listen to Darrell Green and Charles Mann

For more than a year I've argued that Jim Haslett is a below average defensive coach with a long track record of producing below average defenses.   But in the scheme of things I'm a 'nobody'.  So listen to Darrell Green and Charles Mann.

In a short but insightful Washington Post article Green and Mann argue that Skins' defenders lack basic skills and techniques necessary for success in the NFL.  Good defenses play above their talent levels because they have good coaches who are good teachers.  Haslett is a below average defensive mind and a below average teacher -- and he has almost 20 years of poor defenses to show for it.

Skins players and fans deserve better.
